Making your best work – composition workshop
April 17, 2015 @ 4:00 pm - April 19, 2015 @ 5:00 pm UTC+0$20 – $65
Each class we will start with worming up the senses, the imagination and our brain in creating spatial relationships and connections.
Throughout the weekend we will create movement and phrasing material using, the space, our body, our emotional states or our memory as an input. We will deeply explore the body as a container for meaning working with gesture, posture and abstraction of communication. We will write and will work with different ways to insert language into performance. Last class we will focus on crafting the work we’ve created over the weekend.
While attending the whole weekend is strongly recommended, you can also drop in.
However, if you want to just drop in for the last class, please make sure you have at least a 1 minute solo material you know well to work with.
